I had a nice conversation with my Mother this morning and I learned two things that I didn't know before. After WWII, my Zadie, sponsored a family from Poland. This man was named Samuel Joseph Jedwab, who was a psychiatrist. Dr. Jedwab passed away in 1995. The other thing that I learned  is that my grandparents took in a foster child, a girl who lived with them for approximately 3 years.
My Mother did not remember more than that,
